Data Deletion Instructions

1. Introduction

When you connect your Facebook or Instagram account to Adkumo, we store certain data to provide our marketing services. This page explains what data we store and how you can request its deletion, in compliance with Meta's Platform Terms.

2. Data We Store from Facebook/Instagram

When you connect your Facebook or Instagram account, we may store the following data:

  • Facebook/Instagram User ID: Your app-scoped user identifier used to link your Facebook or Instagram account to Adkumo
  • Profile Information: Your name and profile details as provided by the Facebook/Instagram API
  • Connection Data: Access tokens, connection status, and metadata related to your Meta integration
  • Published Content: Ads and media published to your ad accounts through Adkumo

3. How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data stored by Adkumo using any of the following methods:

  • Delete your account from the Adkumo dashboard by navigating to Settings and using the Danger Zone section
  • Send an email to our support team requesting data deletion, and we will process your request within 30 days
  • Remove Adkumo from your Facebook settings by going to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites, finding Adkumo, and clicking Remove — this triggers an automatic data deletion request

4. Automatic Data Deletion

When you remove Adkumo from your Facebook or Instagram account settings, Meta sends an automatic data deletion request to our servers. We process this request immediately by deleting your Meta connection records, including access tokens and profile data associated with your Facebook or Instagram account.

5. What Gets Deleted

When a data deletion request is processed, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your Facebook/Instagram connection records
  • Access tokens and refresh tokens
  • Meta profile data linked to your account
  • Connection metadata and integration settings

6. Data Retention

Content you created in Adkumo (brands, campaigns, creatives, and assets) is not automatically deleted when you disconnect your Facebook or Instagram account. This content belongs to your Adkumo account and is retained until you delete your account or request its removal. To delete all your data, including account content, please delete your account from the dashboard settings.
